Finally got a chance to make an animal bento! A little bummed that my box is so small--couldn't cram half the food I wanted into it :(

LEFT: Scarlet macaw made from bell peppers, eggplant, and blue egg sheet on stir fry pork branch, with rice of course :D

RIGHT: hibiscus cup (carved from potato and painted with food color) of chili bean dipping sauce, beef spring roll, and rainbow of fruit (strawberry, grapefruit, pineapple, melon, blueberry, grape) LOL :D

Your Macaw is awesome, but I had to search for a few words, most of all the blue egg, for we don't have such chicken species in my country (or at least I've never heard about it).
Amazing.

Thanks very much! I'm actually planning on doing a peacock in the future to go with the wooden peacock bento box I made :D

i'm so excited! I can't wait to see, i'm gonna watch you now.

BTW, saw the box and LOVED it. So jealous. i might just have to make one myself. What did you use?

So glad you liked it!

It was a premade craft box I found at Hobby Lobby craft store, and then I used pieces of craft wood (also found there) to make the inserts and then woodburned/stained/glossed.
