Little Cthulu Hat Bentoby ~mindfire3927

My friend, Julianne, has been asking for a bento for a little while now. She loves H.P. Lovecraft and she also sells these adorable little hats at her Etsy so I decided to combine them because I feel like evil mythical beasts should wear more cute accessories

1st Level: Cthulu (broccoli and rice) wearing a little hat (dried carrot and purple potato), turkey meatballs with black bean garlic sauce.

2nd Level: Chocolate chip cookie, veggie chips, mixed nuts, apple carved little hat with nori ribbon.

Hi there! Could you explain how you mixed the broccoli and rice? Were they both separately cooked before you formed the shape or cooked together in a rice cooker? (I'm a very beginner bento maker)

Hi! They were cooked separately. Just steamed some broccoli and broke it into tiny flakes, then mixed it with a small amount of rice until it was the right shade of green.
