Fallingwhen he looks at me his eyes go grey. just for that moment, dead calm oceanwater pools that make me blush for no reason at all. no reason i understand.

it is late at night and he is eating my chocolate chip cookies that are burnt on the bottom. he devours them like manna and then he touches my hips and tells me i'm sweet. his eyes go grey and i know he wants to devour me too.

It always figures that when I'm really missing making bentos, there's nothing in the fridge.

I'd been thinking about trying rice paper scales for a while and I was finally ~~crazy enough~~ able to get a chance to do it. Very happy with how they turned out, even though I wish I'd done strips with rounded cuts instead of jagged but oh well

Top: Koi (rice, rice paper+food color, tapioca/nori eyes) swimming in water (somen)

Bottom: dried apple slices, sweet peas, roasted chicken, cookies.
