I've started letting my daughter request her themes for lunch, so every day is sort of an adventure as far as preparing bento goes :D

Today she requested "flowers".

1st Level: crab handrolls, sushi with crab/spam (her idea) and avocado.

2nd Level: apricot flower with cucumber leaves, yellow squash flower cutouts, ranch, mixed nuts, cherries, rice ball with fumi furikake seasoning, rice ball with salmon furikake seasoning.

Ah spam. xD I thought it was tuna or something until I read the description. I really like how it looks~!

Ahah I really dont get why spam is so big in Hawaii, I've got some relatives there and when they come here they make spam musubi. ^___ ^;;

Thank you very much!! I've always thought spam had a pretty pink color.

Haha I've never understood it either, but I've never NOT eaten spam with rice so I'm just as confused :P

You'd never make it in Hawaii--Spam musubi is in every restaurant! I find it way more appealing than hot dogs. Browned up with some soy sauce and served with hot rice it's delicious :D

!-! i'd die.... anything but hot dogs! i prefer korokke to hot dogs, they taste much MUCH better, especially in a hot dog bun
